Post-Reichenbach. John struggles to cope with the loss of Sherlock. A mystery provides a distraction...or does it?

“Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world,

which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime,

and falling in at night. I miss you like hell.”

Edna St. Vincent Millay

Author note: Part 5 of the "No Heart For Me Like Yours" series. This story contains quite a few spoilers for the rest of the series, so it would probably make much more sense to read the series in order, as it tells how John and Sherlock got to this point.

Thanks to arianedevere and the detailed transcript of “The Reichenbach Fall” at her LJ site: http://arianedevere.livejournal.com/tag/transcript

Many thanks to my beta, Skyfullofstars. Sky, thank you for making me stop and think harder about this story. It’s better because of you.

Disclaimers: Sherlock belongs to Steven Moffatt and Mark Gatiss, Sherlock Holmes originally belonged to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I own nothing. This makes me very, very sad.

Warnings: Sherlock/John. Slash, slash, somewhat graphic slash. Major, major spoilers for Season 2.

Trigger warnings: Suicidal ideation; references to previous abusive relationship, non-con, sexual assault.

Please read and review!

I woke up with a picture in my head of a cover for this wonderful fic (read it here) by emma de los nardos. So I had to create it. It looks almost exactly like I pictured it in my mind, which makes me happy.

I can't seem to stop trying to create more versions of "industrial musician" Sherlock from roane72's marvelous WIP, Pull The Stars From The Sky. Here he is again!

Playing around with original Sherlock Holmes illustration tonight:

I have been reading roane72's fic, "Pull The Stars From The Sky," and had to create a version of her AU!Sherlock. Well, two versions actually.
Here they are... )

Author note: Part 4 of the "No Heart For Me Like Yours" series. This story is a sequel to my two earlier fics, "Always The Last To Know” and “Completely Amazing," and a companion piece to my earlier fic, "Song of Sherlock," and contains some dialogue from that fic. This is a different take on that story, told from Mycroft’s POV. This is definitely not a standalone piece – it would probably make more sense to read the rest of the series first, as they tell how John and Sherlock got to this point.

Warnings: Sherlock/John. Preslash/Slash.

Trigger warnings: References to previous abusive relationship, non-con, sexual assault.

Please read and review!

I've finally gotten around to making a master list of my fics. These are also available over on AO3 and FF, if you prefer to read and comment there. I love reviews, so please let me know if you like what you read!

Disclaimer: These stories are transformative works of the BBC’s Sherlock, which itself is a transformative work. Fun, not profit!

Read a gorgeous Sherlock AU fic by ellie_hell yesterday, a sort of “Beauty and the Beast” fairytale style of story.I was so moved by it that I had to create a photomanip of the masked John in the story:

I highly recommend the fic:

This Man’s Heart  by ellie_hell

Summary: In the latter part of the 19th century, a peculiar solitary man and an ex-army doctor disfigured at war live in a small village, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. When they first meet, they have no idea their lives are about to change forever and, over the months, they will form an unusual friendship, discover more about each other and themselves, and maybe fall a little in love along the way.

Notes:

Author note: This story is a sequel to my two earlier fics, "Always The Last To Know” and “Completely Amazing." It would probably make more sense to read one or both of those first, as they both tell how John and Sherlock got to this point.

Warnings: Sherlock/John. Slash, slash, slash. If guy-on-guy is not your cup of tea, then for heaven's sake, go ahead and avert your eyes now. References to previous abusive relationship and dub-con/non-con.
